PRP

Platelet Rich Plasma, or PRP therapy uses your body’s own growth factors to rejuvenate the skin and promote healing. Commonly used for facial rejuvenation and hair restoration, PRP is used with SkinPen to enhance collagen production, improve skin quality, and support natural regeneration for long-lasting results. Think SkinPen micro needling treatment, but with an extra boost.

Consultation and Preparation

Your provider reviews your goals, medical history, and treatment area. The skin is cleansed, and a topical numbing cream may be applied for comfort.

Blood Draw

A small amount of your blood is drawn, similar to a routine lab test.

PRP Processing

The blood is placed in a centrifuge, where it is spun to separate the platelet-rich plasma from other components. This concentrated plasma contains growth factors that support healing and rejuvenation.

Treatment Application

The PRP is carefully applied or injected into the targeted area (, then injected into the skin through the micro channels created by SkinPen micro needling.

Post-Treatment Care

After treatment, the skin may appear red or mildly swollen the day of your treatment. Your provider will review aftercare instructions to support healing and optimize results. You should appear normal the next day.
